Drum clamp is intended for lifting and moving steel and plastic drums of different sizes in vertical position (one barrel at a time). The clamp has an adjustable grip size and it is suitable for most 120 Iiter and 200 Iiter standard drums, both with lids and open ones. The function of the clamp requires that the drum has a protruding strong top edge/lip under which the clamp jaws can engage.
The clamp consists of three jointed grab arms, fasteners, a central frame and a fixed lifting eye to which the lifting device is attached. Three-point attachment and stabilizer arms (limited range of joint movement) prevent the upper part of a lidless drum from bending under load and they also remain automatically engaged on the drum although the clamp goes "slack" between lifts.
